When he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for that, I thought, "wait a minute, he wasn't the star? Oh yeah, I guess whatsisface, Michael Douglas was supposedy the main character."
Also note that the protagonist bad guys in The Way of the Gun finally get taken down by the antagonist bad guy James Caan -- with a snubby revolver. (There are no good guys in this movie.)
Well OK, a revolver and a gang of guys with rifles.

Kinda like "The Professional," where Jean Reno, the softhearted hitman, gets wiped by Gary Oldham, the really disgusting cop who uses a revolver.
Then there's Lena Olin in "Romeo Is Bleeding," the incredibly hot assassin who uses a revolver.

A very fun movie, lots of twists and turns. It was on the IFC channel some time back.
I thought the British were not supposed to have guns.
The ending was a hoot.
A most excellent movie that i own on DVD But i like face off with cage as the hitman

I watched this one last night. Loved it. Makes me want to ask Santa for a brace of matching 1911's. The Ry Cooder music is totally boss.
So I guess John Smith buys his truckloads of uranium tipped +P+ ball ammo at Wal Mart, huh? I really like the "CHING!" sound the slide makes when it closes.
But where does he get those 8-round mags that hold 300 cartridges? And does he even bother with the safety?

"Snatch" has plenty of guns and gunplay, though I'm a particular fan of the Bullet-Tooth Tony monologue inside the pub. And it's one of the best movies in a darkly funny sort of way I've seen in a long time...

I'll have to agree with Ronin, The Professional (the European cut explains a lot more), and Heat being good movies. Blade Runner is one of my favorite Sci-Fi's ever. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was amusing. Last Man Standing is good too, and is actually a remake of Kurosawa's great samauri movie, Yojimbo.
However, if I take a stricter interpretation of the the original request, a gun or guns has to be a major thematic portion of the movie; rather than guns simply being used. Using that criteria I would suggest:
Quiqley Down Under (centers around his rifle)
John Woo's, The Killer (the plot centers around a peripheral incident involving a gun.)
The Jackal (the old one not the new one )

In at least one scene you can see him ejecting empty mags, but I didn't catch how he reloads in under a second while holding a gun in each hand.

In one scene toward the end he's holding both guns in his right hand and loading fresh magazines with his left. I must try that sometime.
THE JACKAL: Nice pick --- the custom built rifle that doubles as a crutch.
