1. Place -- we have it; Stubb and Herb's.
2. Fliers -- in progress; I'll be banging out text this weekend; we'll have fliers available for distribution for next weekend. We need folks to go to gun shops, ranges, etc. and drop them off. I'd like somebody to volunteer to run that -- and others to volunteer to do the legwork for him or her.
3. Talking it up. It's going to be a fun evening, and I'm anticipating we'll have a good turnout. I'm working on a piece on what this is all about -- it's really simple: doing fun, effective things, and getting more people to do fun, effective things, over the long haul -- but please do tell your friends about December 16th at Stubb and Herb's, 6PM.

I can ask Rick at Metro Gun Club if he's willing to post flyers and info.
I could also drop stuff at Gun Stop

I can't imagine him saying no.
There's also Oak Grove Arms up this way. I'd be glad to drop flyers by there; it'd give me another excuse to go ogle the AR-15's...

I'm in Lakeville and drive by J&S every day, so I could drop something off there. I also frequent the Burnsville range.....

E-mail me some info, including the flyer; here in Rochester I'll hit Wild Goose Sports, Gander Mountain and Coyote Creek (where I'm waiting for a gun to come in!).
I got a bad diagnosis a week ago, so treatment may knock me down by the time of the event; if I'm able, I'll bring along at least one friend.

Not to get too touchy-feely, but have we thought about name tags? I was thinking our real names, plus our AKA screen name. I'd recognize many of you from your Avatars (if that's really you...), but wouldn't be able to pick most of you out of a crowd, and hopefully we'll have quite a crowd.
I'll pick up a few packs of name tags and pens if that sounds like a reasonable plan.

Sounds good -- go for it.
