FRESNO, California (AP) -- Authorities say they've arrested a man who broke into the home of two California farmworkers, stole money, rubbed one with spices and whacked the other with a sausage before fleeing.
Fresno County sheriff's Lt. Ian Burrimond says 22-year-old Antonio Vasquez was found hiding in a field wearing only a T-shirt, boxers and socks after the Saturday morning attack.
He says deputies arrested Vasquez after finding a wallet containing his ID in the ransacked house.
The farmworkers told deputies the suspect woke them Saturday morning by rubbing spices on one of them and smacking the other with an 8-inch sausage.
Burrimond says money allegedly stolen was recovered.

When I first read this, I thought the guy broke into SteveB's house and got asSALTed and beaten. SteveB is in the spices and BBQ business and MAN does his company make good spices.

This could go either way. I mean, who doesn't like a nice dry rub? Am I right? You know I'm right!!
However, the sausage... sometimes a good kielbasa flogging would be just the thing. But if a guy starts swinging around an 8-inch summer sausage - somebody's gonna get hurt.

Not to pick on you specifically, but where are people getting this "puts the lotion on its skin" quote?
The original Ted Levine quote from Silence of the Lambs was "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
Not "puts", "rubs".
Again, not trying to be personal, just wondering where this alternate version of the quote comes from.
[/nitpicking]

Hm. This looks like just the cell mate for that guy from Wisconsin who uses barbecue sauce as "urban camo"...

My bad. I couldn't remember how it went so I typed "it puts the lotion........" into google and it found a bunch of results so I assumed it was correct.

Not trying to single you out. There seem to be a lot of people who get that particular quote wrong. Just wondering if there was an alternate quote somewhere.
(Also, Buffalo Bill was among Ted Levines best perfomances.)

I was thinking the same thing. Steve, does mix up some good stuff.
Very weird story.
