At present, engaged in a debate about carry of firearms by citizens. . . anyone know a quick source for a current number on active LEO's in MN? |

According to POST there are a total of 835 cops working at state agencies. How many local and how many feds? and I will be golden. A good guess is close enough, on feds. even Post's numbers don't line up, but I expect that has to do with year to year changes. My primary objective was supportable number to get a ratio of carry permit holder to active sworn officers in MN. You guys are great! 1 % of MN residents is a permit holder 1/5 th of 1 % is an active LEO in MN |
