Nice piece of hardware. Be careful. Those things tend to multiply and will keep you broke.

Welcome to the club. I have to let you know that soon if asked how many 1911's do you need? (Usually wife or other SO asking) The only answer you will be able to give is:
ALL of THEM!!!!
Enjoy, I have its larger brother the CDP Pro and love it, great carry gun.

I'm taking her to the Burnsville range tonight to check it out. Think I'll take the .454 too just to piss people off and to see how many I can sqweeze off before I can't take any more.
How many do you think? I don't have a clue.
Anyone know what the Burnsville range limit is as far as caliber goes?
I mean like can you take a .50 Cal BMG there and shoot it?
I'll have to ask.

Kind of lost track of this post.
I have taken her out a couple times. Man that sure is a nice trigger. Shot great. Good sites. Very comfortable in the hand. What a great design!!!
And as far as that .454 goes. 12 rounds to bruse the hand for a week.
Now I just go thru 6 at a time. Hope I can build up some resistance.
I love shooting both but the .454's are a little pricey.
If anyone sees a new Keltec PF-9 out there for sale, let me know.
Thanks,
Oscar

WARNING 1911A1 = CHRONIC ILLNESS
C & L All the way. At first you may keep checking the safety, but you get used to the mode of carry pretty quick.
Very nice piece.

sweet gun! I have been thinking about a 1911 for a while. I must stay off the forums because they have them calling to me. I do not own any as of yet.

I've shot .50AE at Burnsville but have also been told a couple times that it was too busy to shoot the Eagle.

I know they don't allow the 500 magnum.

You are officially broke, and I am officially jealous.
I've been seriously considering one of these beauties...... Any problems with feeding hollow point?

I have only used FMJ so far. I will use Power ball for carry. Other Corbon hollow points have a huge hole in the end making them look as tough they would not slide on the ramp very well so I'll just pass on those types.
I think Remington Golden Sabers and Winchester white box H.P's would work fine as they have a more rounded end at the hollow point than some others.

WHY on Earth would I want to interchange parts on perfectly functioning guns??
BTW, I DO have a couple of guns that DO have interchangeable bullets!!
This PUI does have it's drawbacks, though!! (Especially with my big assed fingers!!) However, better living through modern chemistry!!
