Great article. Daley, being an insider & part of the same machine, could just be rolling a loaded dice. Sure if Heller. . . blah, blah, blah . . . but what if his buddy, put in power by the Chicago machine signs an executive order, perhaps stating that handguns are a clear and present danger to the lives and livelihood of Americans and must become NFA items but with a tax adjusted to say = what $200 in 1934 dollars would be in today's change (say $3,198.18 for the tax stamp). Between the ATF's usual competence, some reductions in manpower in the paper processing dept. (to save tax payer money nudge ) and a healthy enough ammo tax . . . Daley may just as well sit tight. His Barry is going to get the Fudds looking elsewhere for the NRA's attention & it'll become a non-issue for the lobby.

As I have said before, Obama is to Daley what Charlie McCarthy was to Edgar Bergen. Daley has his arm all the up Baracks ass to the elbow

1911fan, you speak like a preceptive person from outside IL. I thought you had to have come from Downstate like me to have that accurate a perception of the relationship between the two:
Quote: As I have said before, Obama is to Daley what Charlie McCarthy was to Edgar Bergen. Daley has his arm all the up Baracks ass to the elbow !
emphasis mine.
