I did, however, ask him if he wanted to see the original certificates and he said nope, he only needed the copies. Also, I'm pretty sure his ID badge said something like "community relations - not an officer." Sounds like inconsistency between staffers at the window. |

My renewed Hennepin County permit arrived yesterday, which was 30 days exactly. I also got an extra day added to my expiration date. |

Went to the desk (this was two months ago) and was helped by a very genial guy who didn't seem to exude the "oh, lookie here, another whacko-loner-gun-nut!" attitude that my paranoia had led me to expect, who was friendly and normal and joked around, and who nicely fixed an error I had made on the app. He asked me how many guns I had, I told him, (three), and he handed me three cable-locks and said "these are for your kids." I liked that. Then, on the thirtieth day, the permit arrived. Now, if I can just figure out where I left the cable-lock keys . . . |

Should they go ear to ear or ear to mouth (like a fish)?
