So we have 5 out of 6 interested in .45 acp so far. That looks to be the most common caliber in short supply in our inventories, rightfully so as it has gotten so expensive.
Dare I go on a limb and say we make our maiden voyage with .45 acp?
But who knows, maybe different calibers make no difference to Pony Express and they'd mix and match to whatever we need as long as we're doing a large volume order?

I'm way low on .40, and could probably also use 9mm, .38, .45, .308, 5.56/.223, ???
desired quantities would depend on caliber and price involved... with 500 likely lower limit for pistol stuff, and 100-250 minimums rifle stuff. (already have .30-06 on backorder from CMP, but just finished a new AR15 that I need to try out so my current supply for that is now in jeopardy! base model build - DPMS lower, CMMG flat-top with front sight upper -- just have to go north where I had a handle delivered. Should give it a try this weekend!

I'll chime in on this. I could 230gr hardball or even cast lead. I'll be using for steel shooting so I need it to hit those poppers with a splat!

He (Pony Express) is a hard guy to find but worth it-- I was in there to buy some ammo. a month ago--
$9.80/50 rounds of 9mm ball
About $12.50/50 rounds of .38 wadcutters
Not a problem shooting it at all--

I'm always interested in .45 cap.
Good quality at a reasonable price.
Count me in if the deal includes my perimeters.
Maybe, as "Watch out, or I'll put a cap in ya".....................
"ACP"
Dyslexia of the mind.
My mind knows; Automatic, Colt Pistol, my fingers "thought" Colt Automatic Pistol.

I'd be interested in .45 ACP if the price is right.
(500 rounds?)

You all need to start reloading! Get out to the Gunstop! Get some good equipment and roll your own!

I'm slowly starting down the reloading path -- I see ammo deals as a fun way to acquire brass!!!

The phone to Pony Express is not in service-- I've used his ammo for years and am happy with it but he is a hard guy to reach--
Last price about 9.50 fro 9mm FMJ and around 13 for .38 wadcutters so it looks liek Wamart may be my new palce to buy ammo
