Wayzata Legion is posted on Dining Room entrance. I eat there occasionally. The help is so busy watching soap operas on the tv's that they never notice me carrying.

Still posted, as of Thanksgiving morning. Of all organizations, the Legion ought to know better. Think I'll send them a letter. Anyone else?

This has always been a sore spot with me! I was allowed to carry a 45 topside to guard a nuclear submarine when I was 21 years old and I had to be a veteran to join the American legion but at 59 years old I'm not trusted to enter a legion club with a weapon.
I'm ready for a writing campaign.

I don't know if I've heard of a Legion or VFW (in MN) posted before. Are there others, or is it just a Wayzata thing?

I went to to gathering at the VFW in Champlin and it was posted, and I believe it is an American Legion on Shady Oak road just up from the street from Ammo Craft is posted.

Write the National organizations about this, particularly if you are a member...while both organizations allow local management to make these decisions, they do not appreciate actions which alienate their membership. Let them know you are not happy.
