Well, keep riding that #5 bus, and sooner or later you may just need the WPP.

I have a hat that says "One shot, one kill", I've worn it while carrying. Certainly not a LEO wannabe type hat... Just a message about a certain skill level.

if you hang them just right, I bet they'd make a really nice target with the sun glinting off of them...
glue them onto an auto-reset target when you've worn off the paint maybe?
give them to St. Paul kids along with airsoft pistols so they can play cops and robbers in Rice Park? (JUST KIDDING! )

They might say "I'm sorry, go on about your business."
As long as you don't claim governmental authority, you would not be breaking the law, just treading at the edge. You're simply asking them to change their mind or change the rules for you.
I'm not recomending that course of action, simply speculating on a useful purpose for a carry badge. And they might accuse you of claiming to be a Police Officer. So...... You see nothing...........let me pass...........this just leapt out at me Quote: 'Jedi mind trick', Affect Mind or Persuasion - This power can confuse and persuade others, making them bend to the user's will. It usually only works on those who are weak-minded. Used by Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace, Obi-Wan in Attack of the Clones and A New Hope, and Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi. Toydarians and Hutts are immune to it, however.

I'm sure someone has said this before in this context, but in case nobody has:
Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges.
